dear friends who live in Texas,
i get it. it's hot. it's really hot. it's like incognito Casey Anthony in a frying pan hot.
however, everyone who lives in Texas knows that it gets hot in the summer. we all occasionally have to leave our air conditioned homes. we all know what a weather report is. we've all showed up to work with our polo shirts decorated by a disturbing sweat stain or two.
so with that in mind, can we cool it (no pun intended) with the constant Facebook/Twitter statuses about the heat and the picture uploads of your car's thermometer? i don't need to be reminded of the sweltering heat when i'm creepin' on the 'Book.
thank you.

I hate it for a different reason. Everyday when I call my parents, I ask them what they are up to and they are in the pool trying to "escape the heat." Then, even though I'm sitting in my cool car at a refreshing 85 degrees outside, I can't help but think...I wish I was in the pool relaxing instead of driving home from work.
Seriously.
